All about fwaggle
This is my (rather conceited) section of the website. Well, the entire website is basically mine, but lately it's becoming more of a "we" thing, as we're getting a large number of visitors and I'm getting some people who are interested in contributing. So I've moved all my personal shit here, and I'm not going to rant on the front page any more.
fwaggle is...
fwaggle (translation: "Jamie") is a freelance computer consultant (translation: "unemployed") in the state of Indiana, USA. He's (at the time of writing) 26, married, and both incredibly gifted and handsome. In addition to the many weird things found on this site, he's rather fond of riding small, hazardous BMX bikes and would love to go either snowboarding or surfing just once more in his life.
...
Yep, that's me.
fwaggle?
A lot of people who've read the hacker howto would wonder why I'm still using a handle - after all I do pretend to be the good white-hat hacker and I like to let everyone know about it too. My answer to that is simple: most "hackers" use a handle for anonymity - to escape their real lives and seperate the two. My handle is actually a nickname, or a derivation thereof. I didn't choose it to escape anything, the nickname "fraggle" was given to me by school kids in the 5th grade.
Everyone from my friends to my teachers knew who "fraggle" was (though my parents seemed strangely in the dark), and it just came naturally when choosing my very first internet pseudonym that I use it. I'm sure loads of my high school friends will remember my email address "fraggle@theoffspring.net".
The W? Well that's a little more complicated. Suffice to say I ended up with it, and there's less fwaggles than fraggles on the internet so it stuck.
Oh and spare me the homosexual references, it doesn't bother me, it's not original, and it just makes you look like a goon.
